RADON TRAINING FOR PENNSYLVANIA REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS

Submitted by: Moscow Century 21 Select Group

GLORIA DiCINDIO, Associate Broker at the Century 21 Select Group Moscow Office recently attended Radon Training at the Ramada Hotel in Clarks Summit on September 16, 2009.   This one-day program was presented by Rutgers University Continuing Professional Education – New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station and co-sponsored by the Greater Scranton Board of REALTORS®.  Funding was provided by the PA Department of Environmental Protection.

Radon affects the home buyer, seller, and the real estate agent.  The radon advice you provide as a real estate agent may have risk management and legal repercussions.  This one-day program was designed specifically to help the agent better understand how radon can affect human health and how to manage the role that radon may play in the real estate transfer process.

“This training provided me with invaluable information about radon.  It alerted me of my responsibilities as a real estate agent on how and when to discuss radon issues with my clients.” stated Gloria. “

Gloria obtained brochures and presentations at the program.  She will be happy to share this information with you.   You can reach her at the office at 570-842-1818 or email her at CountOnGloria@century21.com
