 February 18 – Tobyhanna Millpond #1 Ice Harvest. Volunteers will cut ice using authentic, turn-of-the-century ice harvesting tools. 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Watch or lend a helping hand. In the early 1900s, ice was cut, stored in huge icehouses, and transported by railcar to the New York metropolitan area. The late Bill Leonard Sr. of Tobyhanna planned the first ice harvest re-enactment as part of the Coolbaugh Township Bice
